Weinstein’s wife Georgina Chapman is leaving him over ‘unforgivable actions’
LOS ANGELES, Oct 11 — Revelations of the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal continues to stun Hollywood and now his wife Georgina Chapman has announced that she’s leaving him after a decade.
This is the first time the Marchesa designer has addressed Weinstein’s sexual harassment scandal. People quoted her as saying: “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions.
“I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”
The couple wed in 2007 have two children together: India Pearl, seven, and Dashiell Max Robert, four.
The split comes less than a week after The New York Times published a report accusing Weinstein of sexually harassing and initiating “unwanted physical contact” with numerous actresses and employees.
