To add to the merriment, guests got to watch “The Tale of Mount Berapi”, an inaugural volcano show by the park which tells a story of girl possessing a hidden magical power and her quest to seek an enchanted lava stone located on an isolated island protected by devoted locals. The volcano show holds pride as it is the first production by the theme park, from the script, talents, musical scores, choreography to the costume designs. “The Tale of Mount Berapi” will be a daily highlight to cap off the “Best Day Ever” experience in Sunway Lagoon. After the great showcase, the 25 Wonder Years celebration concluded with a beautiful display of fireworks.

Idealisme Keindahan Dalam Puitika Penang

Puitika Sastera Melayu telah diperkenalkan oleh Sasterawan Negara Muhammad Hj Salleh pada 1989. Gagasan Puitika Sastera Melayu diperincikan pada awalnya dalam buku Puitika Sastera Melayu: Satu Pertimbangan, yang diterbitkan oleh Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia pada tahun berkenaan bertunjangkan kepada falsafah dan konsep keindahan dalam kesusasteraan Melayu tradisional.

Dengan penelitian yang bersifat analitis terhadap ribuan pantun Melayu yang mengakar dalam teks-teks kesusasteraan Melayu tradisional, ia menjadi pemangkin kepada pengajuran ‘Puitika’ oleh Meja Poedjangga.

Selepas kejayaan Konsert Puitika Pujangga pada April lalu di Istana Budaya, Festival Puitika Penang (FPP) meneruskan idealisme keindahannya.

Membawa pendekatan yang sama, persembahan tanpa pemudah acara ini berobjektif untuk merayakan seni dan kesenimanan para belia dengan menggabungkan tokoh sastera, penyair muda, aktivis seni dan mapan selain memupuk semangat positif dan kreatif dalam kalangan rakyat Malaysia khususnya dengan mempamerkan rasa cinta terhadap budaya dan bahasa. Ia didatangkan dalam sebuah muzikalisasi puisi yang menggabungkan lagu puisi, deklamasi dan teater pendek dan lukisan catan secara langsung.

Di Jalan Padang Kota Lama pada 4 November 2017, berlatar belakangkan Dewan Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang yang ikonik; berusia 200 tahun dan diiktiraf sebagai Khazanah Warisan Negara oleh Unesco, produksi FPP dibawa menggelongsori falsafah seni yang terbina bersamanyaa.

Festival yang direncakan bermula pada jam 5 petang dengan segmen bual bicara sastera perdana dan sastera indie ditangguhkan kerana hujan lebat. Bagaimanapun, alam memberi keizinan untuk Konsert Puitika Penang memulakan acara pada jam 8.45 malam dengan pembukaan oleh juruacara Waslie Duby dan Shariffah Khadijah yang petah menyambut penonton.

Bahang dalam hujan gerimis diteruskan dengan acara buka panggung oleh orkestra tradisional Pahang, Anak Kayan yang menampilkan dua buah lagu Sayembara Panglima dan Terbanglah Rajawaliku dengan simposium bunyian alam dan tradisi sebelum pentas diambil alih oleh deklamator Inggeris, Azam Rais dengan puisinya Shutter yang meninggalkan kesan pada penonton melalui persembahan dalam nuansa gagapnya.

Joget lambak menutup konsert

Penyair Muda ASEAN 2015 yang merupakan tunggak festival, Umar Uzair seterusnya tampil dengan sepasang lagu puisi iaitu Cenderawasih dan Bulan Sendiri yang merupakan sebuah lagu puisi baharu tulisan penyair terkenal Indonesia, Sastri Bakry. Melodinya digubah oleh Uzair sendiri dan mendapat sentuhan emasgitaris tersohor Athan 6th Sense serta disempurnakan dengan seruling dari Ikhwan Ismail (Anak Kayan).

Pentas kemudiannya diambil alih oleh penyair tempatan dari Penang, Shirley Idris yang menyampaikan puisinya Bahasa Bertamsilkan Dosa. Anggun dalam busana bercitra Minang dan diiiringi oleh sepasang penari yang menarikan tarian Melayu dan klasik India dari Jabatan Kesenian dan Kebudayaan, persembahannya ditampilkan dengan segar dalam sisi kontemporari.

Fragmen teater melalui naskah Nanar Bahasa, sebuah skrip tulisan Umar Uzair diterampilkan dengan murni oleh lima orang pelakon dari Persatuan Teater Alor Setar (PENTAS) iaitu Al Fahim, Ameerul Zafran, Wan Muhammad Aqil, Mohd Azumi, Muhammad Nor Azrie, Azraf Azizi dan Zulkamal Ismail. Diarahkan oleh Tokoh Teater Kedah – Joe Kas, fragmen berkisarkan permasalahan bahasa yang sedang terjadi dalam kalangan masyarakat hari ini dijayakan dalam gaya klasik namun segar.

Kegemilangan Konsert Puitika Penang yang mendapat sokongan kukuh Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang, Think City, Cititel Hotel, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka serta Pusat Pelancongan Malaysia (Penang) ini ditutup dengan persembahan kemuncak daripada sasterawan terkenal Profesor Lim Swee Tin. Menyampaikan sebuah puisi Berharmoni Bersetia sesuai dengan tema festival iaitu Damai dalam Perpaduan dan Indung-Indung sebuah lagu rakyat dipersembahkan oleh Prof. Lim Swee Tin dengan indah dan menggamit perasaan tetamu yang dibuai angin malam.

Keluarga Festival Puitika Penang 2017

Festival Puitika Penang, sebuah konsert puisi pertama dipersembahkan di Pulau Pinang merupakan inisiatif yang amat tinggi oleh golongan seniman belia yang wajar disokong oleh semua pihak. Seperti kata Pengarah Jabatan Khidmat Kemasyarakatan MBPP, Cik Rashidah Jalaluddin, “Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang dan masyarakatnya mendukung penuh penganjuran festival ini kerana kami memerlukan lebih kerap acara sebegini di negeri ini dan berharap produksi ini dapat terus dibawa pada masa akan datang’.

Berhasrat untuk kekal dengan jenama ‘Puitika’ ini, Umar Uzair sedang mengatur untuk membawakan acara ini ke negeri-negeri lain seluruh Malaysia, “Saya berharap sokongan oleh pihak swasta dan berwajib dapat ditunjukkan dengan tinggi dan berterusan walaupun Belanjawan 2018 tidak memperlihatkan kepedulian terhadap perkembangan dan perusahaan seni sastera. Kami memerlukan suntikan dana yang baik agar acara seperti ini dapat membawa momentum yang luar biasa kepada khayalak, sama seperti penganjuran bidang lain”.
