Ben Affleck apologises for groping Hilarie Burton as new sexual allegations surface

Yesterday, Affleck  took to Twitter to offer a grovelling apology to Burton for groping her on camera during a 2003 appearance on MTV’s Total Request Live.

“I acted inappropriately toward Ms Burton and I sincerely apologise,” he tweeted.

It seems Affleck also owes an apology to Annamarie Tendler, the wife of prominent US comedian John Mulaney, who alleges the Batman star had “grabbed” her bottom at a party back in 2014.

Her Twitter post revealed: “I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my ass at a Golden Globes party in 2014. He walked by me, cupped my butt and pressed his finger into my crack.

“I guess he tried to play it like he was politely moving me out of the way and oops touched my butt instead of my lower back?

“Like most women in these situations I didn’t say anything, but I have thought a lot about what I’d say if I ever saw him again.”

Wait there’s more, another video has also resurfaced that shows Affleck fondling another TV host back in 2004.

The clip shows TV personality Anne-Marie Losique sitting on Affleck’s lap during a 2004 interview for his movie Jersey Girl in which he repeatedly nuzzles and hugs Losique and refers to her breasts.

“They would like it better if you did this show topless, the station, wouldn’t they?” He then turns her in his lap so she’s facing the camera. “We could do the interview like this,” he says with slurred speech, before wrapping his arms around her and nestling his face on her chest.

While the video is getting a lot of flak online, Losique has been quoted by various reports as saying that the behaviour in the video was “really, just for the cameras” and that Affleck was very professional.
